SMT for WD-40 from the Deck of USS Midway Supports Military Charities
NEW YORK, April 27, 2011 – Famed Actor and Military Gunnery Sergeant R. Lee “Gunny” Ermey was featured in an SMT for WD-40 to raise money for three military related charities. The tour was produced by D S Simon Productions in partnership with Nuffer, Smith, Tucker Public Relations and featured a live obstacle course race by ROTC members on the deck of the USS Midway. The tour highlighted the new WD-40® Collectible Series cans. Purchases of the cans between now and Memorial Day benefit the Armed Services YMCA, the Wounded Warrior Project and the Veterans Medical Research Foundation.
